If Morgan Ensberg has a productive season. Some of you have tried to make the case that he was productive in 2006. He was not. Not even close. His .396 OBP looked good because Phil Garner played him mostly against LHP in the second half. That's not good enough. With Lance Berkman, Carlos Lee and a productive Ensberg in the middle of the lineup, the offense will be as good as any in the NL.If Roger Clemens re-signs with the Astros. He'll probably wait until at least June to decide where he'll pitch. By that time, the pennant races will begin to take shape. If the Astros are scoring runs and competitive, they may have a chance to re-sign him. Otherwise, he's probably headed back to the Yankees. His inability to decide where he wants to pitch is annoying, but he can still pitch. Clemens has had the best ERA in the big leagues the last two years. He's 20-14 with a 2.02 ERA in that time. He has 38 quality starts in 51 games along with 91 walks and 287 strikeouts. With a rotation of Roy Oswalt, Jason Jennings, Woody Williams and Clemens, the Astros could sail into the playoffs in a weak division. If one or two of the inexperienced starters perform well. Phil Garner will pick from a list that includes Chris Sampson, Matt Albers, Fernando Nieve, Wandy Rodriguez and Troy Patton. Patton is the most intriguing name, but he's a longshot. Sampson, Albers and Nieve could turn a mediocre rotation into a strength. Get one more productive season from Craig Biggio. He was absolutely awful after the All-Star Break last season, hitting .193 in both August and September. He was awful on the road the entire year. With Brad Ausmus and Adam Everett in the lineup, Biggio must hit. GM Tim Purpura's signing of Mark Loretta indicates he's not confident this will happen. That 3,000-hit celebration will be pretty awkward if Biggio limps through the season hitting .230. If Brad Lidge and Chad Qualls are more reliable than they were last season. Qualls had a solid season, but when he blew a game, it was in spectacular fashion. Lidge had stretches when he seemed about to pitch his way out of the big leagues. The Astros lost 11 games in which they led in the seventh inning or later. Those are killers in a season in which they finished 2 losses behind the Cardinals. If  Luke Scott is the real deal. He hit .336 with 10 homers and 37 RBIs after the break. If he plays like that for an entire season, he'll be a huge factor
